Like something straight out of a fairy tale, our PAGLINA design spins straw into gold. PAGLINA gives the idea of sleeping on straw a whole new meaning. Our design team discovered enchanting straw embroidery in the archive of the Straw Museum in Wohlen. Located in the Swiss canton of Aargau, the area around Wohlen was home to
a straw work industry which flourished in the 19th century, producing artistic embellishments for the world of fashion. Made using what is surely the humblest of all raw materials, these woven straw trimmings were exported all around the world and caused quite a stir in fashionable circles. Now, the most exquisite straw motifs feature on our high-quality bedlinen made from 100% finest cotton. The design consists of numerous braids, ornaments and lace made from straw.
